Chiara’s Reviews. HYDRA World Of Beauty Cleansing Milk
Welcome back to the blog, readers! After the first World Of Beauty box and the reviews that you particularly appreciated (especially the one related to detergent), today I want to show you the first product of the new box of this 2019 designed for sensitive skin, with imperfections and with the first signs of aging: the HYDRA facial cleanser.
World Of Beauty is a brand that was born in 1969 initially with the aim of creating high-quality cosmecetutical products for SPAs. Now present in as many as 43 countries in the world, it offers a wide range of products able to satisfy any need and any problem.
Their formulas adapt and marry any type of skin, from the driest to the most oily, from the youngest to the most mature, and each product contains a vast selection of quality active ingredients to nourish and regenerate the skin in depth.
HYDRA Cleansing Milk has seven functions:

As with the previous box, this cleansing milk arrived in my skincare routine at just the right time: temperature imbalances, sudden frosts, fever, monthly indisposition imperfections, stress (that never fails … !!!) have made my skin extremely capricious, but also particularly tired and marked, as well as invaded by enormous and aching pimples in the strangest points of the face that I could not get rid of in any way.
I immediately tested the cleansing milk and after more than a week of use and after a few days of settling the skin, I have drawn my conclusions that I can expose to you without any doubt.
The packaging- 200ml of product has a design very similar to that of its little brother Couper Cleasing Milk, but with a completely different color; if the Couper Cleasing Milk is as white as freshly fallen snow, this cleanser reminds me so much of the color of mint ice cream that I love to eat in the summer to freshen up (have you ever seen the PUFFO ice cream …?!? the same pleasant color!) and is also much denser and extremely fresh and delicate.

A mix of ingredients to be able to remove even makeup and residues of pollution in depth and very gently, without giving up the hydration and relaxation donated by the mix of extracts contained within it. Final result …?!? Smooth, nourished skin, soft as a baby’s skin.
Like all the products of the World Of Beauty brand, it is not tested on our animal friends (by now you have understood that for me this is a fundamental element in choosing a brand for my skincare!) And it contains very high quality bio-certified ingredients, to guarantee the best performance.
Let’s analyze the INCI together:
AQUA
PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS OIL: Thanks to its versatility, sweet almond oil is used in various preparations for dermo-cosmetic use such as massage oils for the skin of newborns, children and the elderly, creams and moisturizing milks for the sensitive skin, fragile and dry and as an emollient and nourishing after cleansing the face. Effective in preventing the onset of stretch marks during pregnancy and in preventing nipple cracking following breastfeeding. It is useful in treating very dry, frizzy, sun-dried hair. It is suitable for aromatherapy. Applied on the skin, it is a safe ingredient at any concentration of use.
C12-20 ACID PEG-8 ESTER: non-ionic ethoxylated emulsifier and helps to give the product a good texture and good fluidity
DECYL OLEATE: universal emollient oil, excellent in cosmetic preparations. It is formed by the elimination of water in a chemical reaction of alcohol (decyl alcohol) and oleic acid. Thanks to this combination the decyl oleate will be able to have a lubricating capacity on the skin, giving softness and making it smooth and pleasant to the touch. This product excels in the preparation of products for the skin and hair thanks to its properties.
ISOPROPYL PALMITATE: obtained from the reaction between isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid, it is a light emollient with a dry and easily absorbable touch.
TILIA CORDATA OIL: Linden extract is a useful ingredient for the preparation of emulsions and serums for delicate, sensitive, dry skin, tending to redness.
CAPRYLIC / CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE: glycerine derivative; thanks to its emollient properties, it is able to form a lipid film that reduces water loss.
COCOS NUCIFERA OIL: obtained by pressing the endosperm previously dried in the coconut. It contains lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, caprylic and caprinic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid. It has nourishing and sebum-restoring properties and also the presence of lauric acid and short chain fats, is used in the preparation of surfactants with intermediate function.
TOCOPHEROL: vitamin E with antioxidant properties, helps prevent premature aging and wrinkle formation.
LECITHIN: is a vegetable blend made from soy, wheat or egg yolk which performs a good moisturizing function on the skin, prevents peeling of excessively dry skin and helps restore the natural elasticity of the dermis.
TOCOPHERYL ACETATE: natural vitamin E
HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN: gelatin of natural origin
CAMOMILE RECUTITA FLOWER EXTRACT: The chamomile extract stimulates the functionality of the microcirculation and the activity of the fibroblasts with the promotion of the synthesis of collagen, elastic fibers and hyaluronic acid, thus favoring the repair of the epidermis and the dermis.
PALMITIC ACID: natural fatty acid with an emollient action
CETEARYL ALCOHOL: cetistearyl alcohol is an emulsifier of natural origin, which appears as a white solid in granules or flakes with a waxy consistency and has the power to give viscosity to a product without weighing it down, making it pleasant to spread on the skin thanks to its emollient function.
ASCORBYL PALMITATE: liposoluble form of vitamin C
CITRIC ACID: exfoliant and regulator of PH
SACCHARIDE ISOMERATE: ingredient of vegetable origin
POLYSORBATE 20: non-ionic vegetable-derived surfactant obtained from the esterification reaction of ethoxylated sorbitol with lauric acid
STEARIC ACID: fatty acid of vegetable or animal origin used as viscosifier
TRIETHYLHEXANOIN: emollient synthetic triglyceride
PROPANEDIOL: natural and skin-friendly alternative used as a booster to increase the activity of preservatives by formulators who want natural, versatile and innovative cosmetic ingredients.
CAPRYLYL GLYCOL: emollient
SODIUM POLYACRYLATE: synthetic polymer, sodium salt of polyacrylic acid. It appears as a white crystalline powder dispersible in water. It has gelling, stabilizing, film-forming and emulsifying properties
CETEARETH-20: emulsifier
MYRISTIC ACID: fatty acid with an emollient function
ETHYLHEXYGLYCERIN: synthetic compound derived from cereals used for its antimicrobial properties and is also a good emollient and humectant
HEXYL CINNAMAL: fragrance naturally derived from chamomile
PARFUM
TRISODIUM ETHYLENE-DIAMINE DISUCCINATE: talc
SODIUM HYDROXIDE SODIUM CITRATE: sodium citrate of natural origin.
CI 42090: it comes in the form of blue powder, soluble in water, glycerol and glycols and little in ethanol. It is used in cosmetics to give the products a blue-blue color.
After having tested this cleansing milk for over a week, I can confirm that it is a very suitable product for dry skin: the de-hydrated and already visible areas have regained their natural hydration, the pimples have disappeared and the skin has taken on a healthier complexion and is visibly hydrated. The scent is so good that it is a continuous attack on my face by my boyfriend, who always tries to bite me (his words: “I taste so good it makes him hungry”); spots from pimples have disappeared and the skin is more nourished and relaxed, to the touch very soft and smooth, but not greasy. It smoothes the makeup up to medium resistance but does not irritate the eyes, nor does an unpleasant feeling of pulling skin remain on the face.
Like his little brother Couper Cleasing Milk, I love the formulas of World Of Beauty cleansing milk, so much so that you are advised to find out about the presence of licensees in your area on the official website in order to buy the combo of products best suited to your skincare routine.
