World of Beauty: my rebalancing beauty routine

in the last period I abandoned my usual Korean routine skincare to try the one designed especially for me by the specialists World of Beauty …
This year’s winter box is really special because it is personalized, that is, made up of specific products for my skin. After filling out a form and sending a photo of me, the World of Beauty technical staff made a check-up and chose the products for me to try.
I warn you, this review will be a bit long, but if you have the same type of skin as me, I suggest you read it until the end because it might be useful to you!
Asphyxiated skin type (dehydrated / dry in depth – which leads to the permeability of capillaries – and impure with some pores dilated on the epidermal surface). Large pores visible in particular on zone T and possible risk of hyperchromia (spots) in case of photoexposure.
According to the specialists, the ideal way to treat my skin would be to undertake a path of rebalancing:
– first month: rebalancing and oxygenating to improve lymphatic circulation and cellular exchange between the depth of the skin and its surface;
– second month: refining to reduce the appearance of large pores, reducing the risk of hyperchromia;
– third month: maintaining results obtained.
To face this first month of treatment, I received the Couper Cleansing Milk, the Couper Complex Lotion tonic, the Akoia Lift Power Infusion serum, the Jeunesse Recovery Cream, the Jamululur Gold & Diamond Scrub scrub and the Akoia Lift Absolute mask Mask.
But how and when to use these products? I give you the indications given below.
The treatment
Weekly Beauty Routine
Before starting and to repeat once a week:
Phase 1: Cleansing with Milk and Couper Tonic.
Step 2: Apply Jamululur Gold & Diamond Scrub and perform a refining scrub, gently massage for 20 seconds and rinse.
Step 3: Apply the Akoia Lift Power Infusion serum on eye and face contour until completely absorbed and apply a thin layer of Akoia Lift Absolute Mask, leave on for 5 minutes, then massage it until completely absorbed and eventually rinse the excess and then apply the daily beauty routine.
Beauty Daily routine, constant
Morning and evening cleansing:
– Couper rinsing cleansing milk. Put a small amount of the product in the palm of your hand, very clean, and apply on the face, neck and décolleté with a few minutes of massage and rinse with water.
– Couper tonic. Apply the tonic with friction, as if it were a serum, until completely absorbed. This product helps improve microcirculation and prepares the skin to receive the benefits of self-care.

In the Morning, after cleansing:
Step 1: Apply the concentrated serum Akoia Lift Power Infusion which promotes an initial drainage action and stimulates the skin in its natural ability to produce a greater quantity of hyaluronic acid.
Step 2: Apply Jeunesse Recovery Cream. Given the harsh climate, the quantity must be greater than a traditional day cream.

COUPER CLEANSING MILK
This cleansing cream milk is organic, vegan, dermatologically tested and is suitable for all skin types. It has a bioceutical formula (biological active ingredients and cosmeceutical functionality) and has a triple function on the skin, cleansing it, hydrating it and relieving any redness. It can also be used as a makeup remover. Among the ingredients we find:
Olive oil (Olea Europaea): rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (oleic, linoleic, palmitoleic, palmitic, stearic, arachidic, myristic acid), carries out a protective action, anti-wrinkle, sebum-restoring and stimulates or reparative processes of epidermis and dermis.
Chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita): has soothing, decongestant, softening, calming and dermo-purifying properties.
Cornflower Water (Centaurea Cyanus): it has softening, soothing, moisturizing, astringent, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis): consisting of oleic and linoleic acid, it has emollient, nourishing and elasticizing properties.
Calendula extract (Calendula Officinalis): characterized by the presence of 15 amino acids, it has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and healing properties.
Wheat germ extract (Triticum Vulgare): it has moisturizing and normalizing properties of the skin barrier.
Soft, fragrant and delicate, these are the qualities of the Couper Cleansing Milk. Deeply cleans the skin without attacking it – a fundamental characteristic for those who, like me, suffer from rosacea – thanks to its slightly oily texture. It does not burn and does not cloud the view if it ends up in the eyes and leaves the skin hydrated and soft to the touch. Its makeup remover power is not very high, therefore, I prefer to use it mainly as a daily detergent or after micellar water to remove any makeup residues.

COUPER COMPLEX LOTION
The Couper Complex Lotion tonic is also a bioceutical product suitable for all skin types, in particular those from normal to dehydrated, dry and sensitive. Performs a decongestant and soothing action on redness and balances cellular turnover.
The ingredients:
Rosa Damascena water: it has elasticising, toning, antiseptic and astringent properties.
Sweet orange water (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis): it has antiseptic, calming and astringent properties.
Grapefruit water (Citrus Grandis): has antiseptic, healing and toning properties.
Lemon water (Citrus Limon): has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and protective properties of blood capillaries.
The Couper tonic has a good smell and a watery texture. Light and delicate, it is absorbed quickly without leaving sticky residues. It refreshes the skin, moisturizes it and reduces redness, but in my case the soothing effect is temporary because as soon as I touch the face, even with just one finger, it reddened again!

AKOIA LIFT POWER INFUSION
Akoia Lift Power Infusion is a serum suitable for all skin types, even for tired skin. It has a formula consisting of 99.34% natural ingredients and 88.51% certified organic ingredients.
This serum has a high concentration of botanical antioxidant extracts capable of improving and preventing aging, reducing the oxidative stress caused by smog, energizing and firming the skin.
It Contains:
Beech Extract (Fagus Sylvatica): it has anti-age properties and stimulates cellular metabolism.
Aloe Vera extract (Aloe Barbadensis): it has moisturizing, soothing, anti-reddening and healing properties.
Brown algae extract (Sargassum Muticum): it is able to counteract free radicals.
Fig (Ficus Carica) extract: it is an excellent antioxidant, thanks to its high polyphenol content.

This serum has a fluid consistency that seems to become watery when it is applied to the face. Thanks to this it is immediately absorbed without greasing the skin. It is not very moisturizing, but it is not a problem because afterwards I always go to put a cream. After application, the skin appears brighter, more compact and smoother.

JEUNESSE RECOVERY CREAM
Jeunesse Recovery Cream is part of the World of Beauty Anti-age Repair line. It is suitable for all types of skin, even dehydrated and sensitive.
It is formulated with botanically derived active ingredients and helps prevent and minimize stains and the signs of aging by balancing the level of hydration of the epidermis.
The ingredients:
Cornflower water (Centaurea Cyanus): see Couper Cleansing Milk
Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis): has revitalizing properties, prevents dehydration and regulates sebum production.
Sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis): see Couper Cleansing Milk
Lime Extract (Tilia Vulgaris): has moisturizing, refreshing, soothing and anti-reddening properties.

Jeunesse Recovery has a rich and full-bodied consistency, but do not think that it is heavy on the face, indeed, once applied it is light on the skin, not oily at all and is absorbed perfectly in a very short time, which makes it ideal as a pre-make-up base. Deeply moisturizes the skin, making it appear alive, toned and compact. I deeply love this cream, not only for its effects on the face, but also for its sweet and slightly citrus fragrance that reminds me of the smell of cupcakes!

JAMULULUR GOLD & DIAMOND SCRUB
Jamululur Gold & Diamond Scrub is a treatment suitable for tired and aging skin.
Its formula, consisting of diamond powder and ocean mother-of-pearl combined with the properties of 24k colloidal gold, stimulates skin microcirculation, perfects the complexion and minimizes expression lines. In addition to these precious ingredients, we also find:
Champagne extract: consisting of flavonoids, organic acids and vitamins, it has antioxidant, cellular regenerating properties and is able to slow down skin aging.
Conchiolina Powder: it has toning, illuminating and anti-aging properties.
Extract of red vine leaves (Vitis Vinifera): see Jeunesse Recovery
This scrub does its job very well: it removes dead cells, thoroughly cleans the enlarged pores going to eliminate blackheads and leaves the skin glowing, smooth and soft. Nevertheless, I can’t 100% appreciate it because I find it too aggressive on my skin. When I begin to massage it (very, very gently), the granules contained in it all feel distinctly and it is as if they were scratching the skin. To make you better understand the feeling: take a handful of glitter and try to massage it on the face … I assure you that it is not pleasant. The discomfort is felt especially on the cheeks, which is then the area of my face that is more delicate and reddened, while on the rest of the face it is bearable. Obviously I will continue to use it because it is effective, but I will avoid the most sensitive areas, after all “whoever wants to appear, must suffer a little”, no?

AKOIA LIFT ABSOLUTE MASK
The Akoia Lift Absolute Mask is a 10 ml single-dose face mask, sufficient for two applications, so a thin layer must be placed on the face and the tube can be closed again. It is suitable for tired and stressed skin.
Thanks to its ultra moisturizing and nourishing action, it brings energy to the skin, strengthens it, refines it and minimizes the signs of aging. Among the ingredients, we find:
Safflower seed oil (Carthamus Tinctorius): it has moisturizing, restructuring, emollient and nourishing properties. Especially suitable for sensitive, reddened and couperose skins.

Baobab oil (Adansonia Digitata): rich in linoleic, linolenic and oleic acid, it is able to counteract aging. It has smoothing, emollient, nourishing and elasticizing properties.
Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima): it has regenerating, nourishing, softening, protective and elasticizing properties.
Aloe Vera Extract (Aloe Barbadensis): see Akoia Lift Power Infusion.
This mask has the consistency of a common face cream, neither too liquid, nor too full-bodied and once spread on the face, in contact with the air, becomes denser. I keep it in place for about 10 minutes (even if 5 minutes are indicated in the method of use), after which I give a short massage and then rinse. It really does what it promises, which is to give a deep hydration. After removing it the skin is nourished and appears extremely soft and smooth, fleshed out, radiant and vital. Great!

The result
BU … I scared you, huh?
However, apart from the jokes, after this first month of treatment (without ever failing), I can tell you that I have not seen improvements on couperose or redness, which are still there to keep me company. Honestly I imagined it because as the dermatologist told me over and over again: “Couperose does not go away. It could lighten naturally over the years, but the only way to eliminate it is the laser!”.
The most evident improvements concern the level of hydration because if before, after the shower, I felt the skin of the face pull, now the skin does not pull anymore and then I see that the lines of expression that I have on the forehead appear more smooth and less evident … do you see them too?
Given that this was precisely the goal of these products, I would say … mission accomplished !!!
